What a find! Hwy 4 just 15 mins north of Exeter, in Brucefield Ontario, 10 km before you get to Clinton! Cheese burger, onion rings, poutine Canadian bacon burger, pizza stick and deep fried cheese cake with raspberry sauce for dessert only $36! Worth every penny!! Outdoor tables for family to rest and fill up after day at beach or on way to cottage! Staff was very friendly and food was fast and hot, would recommend 100% Happy outdoor dining! After driving by several times and it always being busy, I thought I would give it a try. What a surprise. Being celiac I'm always causious eating out. The menu said to ask about their gluten free options, so I did. They said countless items that most sit in restaurants dont have. As simple as a burger, chicken burger and a number of sides. Staff were aware of the issues of celiacs disease and what people can and cannot have. A wonderful experience and a breath of fresh air. Located in the small town of Brucefield is this cute drive in! I’ve had food and ice cream here a few times and it’s good, nothing crazy special. What I’m here to talk about is the apple fries! I’ve never seen this before but if you like apple pie and donuts this is for you. Yummy summer dessert that I would recommend!
Found this road side spot on our way to Lake Erie. There were quite a few cars in the parking lot which peaked our interest. I love how these kind of fast food places often have pogos; they are not often found on menus in these parts. I was hopeful that Farmer’s Dell would have them on their menu, and yay for me, they did. They were cooked to perfection. We were also happy to find out they have fresh coffee by way of a Keurig brew.
We had Sunday special which is Pork Belly Tacos, everybody loved it, the pork is tender and juicy came with salads,sour cream and soft Tortillas, the taste was just right, refreshing and tasty Fish and fried is nice too, crispy not oily and fish is fresh, crispy fries and dipping Tatar sauce. We had the food at the picnic table in the area which is clean. Will come back again
We love stopping for lunch! They have great gluten-free options. Definitely recommend the granny apple fries!
Great food and very friendly staff, was confused when I got my food and there was not even a handful of onion rings. For the price we paid I was expecting more but overall the food was good
